‘SevenFamilies’ is a charity led campaign to provide a tax-free income for one year to seven people who have lost their income because of a serious or long-term illness or disability. ‘Seven Families’ aim to highlight the need for people to plan financially in case they become too ill to earn an income and the charity Disability Rights UK are working with Seven Families where the main breadwinner has been forced out of work by an accident or illness and not received any related insurance pay out. The campaign has three aims:
To raise public awareness of the financial impact of long term illness or disability
To help seven real families who are facing financial meltdown
To demonstrate the value of independent living support, rehabilitation and counselling, through trying to help get people back to work
In times of need…
At Prudens Financial Protection we understand it is not just about putting the right protection in place, but what happens when you need it most and support around you. With this in mind would like to bring your attention to a charity organisation called ‘Child Bereavement UK’. They have an office in Runcorn which is great for our local clients, but also have offices around the UK.
Child Bereavement UK supports families when a child is facing bereavement, or when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying. Their organisation trains more than 8,000 professionals, helping them to better understand and meet the needs of grieving families.
